It's that time of year again. One of the busiest times of year, that is. I am in shock that we are already in November, is Thanksgiving already this week?? This year has gone by so fast! As you all probably know, I have just recently jetted off to New York! I am so excited to finally be able to share this amazing experience with all of you. I apologize for taking so long to post about it, I have been extremely busy with school, fashion club, and all of the little things that fall in between. I also just wanted to build a little bit of anticipation... ;) But here it is... My experience in New York! (The first one at least. I don't think I'll be able to fit my whole experience in one post.)
If you follow my blog, I am sure you saw my post that I was accepted into Teen Vogue Fashion University. It all started on the morning of September 1st, I had a few minutes before Fashion History so I randomly decided to check my email, and there it was... my acceptance email to TVFU!! I was lucky enough to be accepted on the first day that emails were sent out! (This is actually my second year being accepted, but I was unfortunately unable to attend last year.) I immediately called my mom to start setting up arrangements and raced home after class to register! It felt so good when I finally received my conformation email:

I got all of the classes that I wanted, how could this get any better?? Well... it got much better! My parents surprised me with a FABULOUS hotel room.... you'll have to keep guessing where until I get to that post ;)
So I had a whole month of anticipation and lots and lots and lots of shopping to do before my trip!
It got a little hectic to pack, so I took over a little section of the living room to plan out my suitcase...
This is only about 1/8 of what I ended up packing.... a mix of Burberry scarves, Juicy Couture leather, LOTS of sequins, some fabulous Rock&Republic jeans (I was lucky enough to purchase these at their AMAZING store on Robertson in LA last spring. If you never got to experience the store, be sure to google it, it was truly fabulous. I was so devastated when I heard that they were closed.)
Anyways... Here's a picture of my grandpa and I with my sisters before we left, in front of a random bunny in the middle of the new terminal in SMF
Ten hours and a flight delay later..... I was in New York!!!!!!!!!!!
xoxo,
Danielle
sooo much fun
