Kiss Nail Dress

I have another Influenster review for you!  One of the complementary items that I received for testing and reviewing purposes in my Influenster "Love VoxBox" was Kiss Nail Dress.  The design that they sent me was sparkly black and silver crackle.  Here's a picture of the box and its contents:

I was so excited to try these nail strips! I see them all the time in stores and magazines, but I just haven't got around to trying them until now.  I was surprised how easy the instructions are!

You start off with clean, smooth nails, then you choose a strip size for each nail from the various sizes provided in the box. (Each package includes 28 strips in 14 sizes!) Once you choose a size for the nail, you stick it a little above the cuticle and smooth on your nail.  The strips are very long to fit any length of nail, so you will need to smooth it over the tip of your nail and file off the excess strip with the provided nail file.

You can also check out the YouTube video from Kiss Nail Dress on how to apply the nail strips:

I am going to warn you that your first try might not be very easy, but don't let that scare you away from trying again.  The main problem I had was that a couple of my nails weren't sticking at the tip and I was worried about them peeling off.  So guess what??  I figured out a solution!  I recommend using a quick coat of clear nail polish over the top of the strips after you apply them to your nails.  They work either way, but I feel like they are more secure with the polish over them.  (Don't worry, the clear polish doesn't ruin the sticker or make the design blurry!)

As you can see, they turn out very nice!  Included in the package is a nail design booklet, for a little inspiration to customize the nail strips. (There is also a look-book on their website)  Click here to check out more helpful tips and FAQ's.

I really like how cool the design looks.  I will definitely be buying another design to try soon!  Next time I think that I will try them on my toes too!  They have 18 styles to choose from, but there are endless possibilities, considering that there are so many ways to customize them!

Have you tried nail strips yet?  If so, what do you think of them?  What are your nail strip tips?

xoxo,
Danielle
